Being a new travel destination in Myanmar, infrastructure in Naga Land is still very basic. All accommodation, toilet and bath room facility are very basic and poor. It means all travelers will need to stay at Naga traditional houses. But visiting to Naga villages Hukaung valley is really memorable trip in Myanmar. It will send you back one century ago. We do recommend this trip for traveler who wants to make soft adventure tour to hill tribal villages and see natural beauty of wild life and dese forest. Itinerary

Visiting Authentic Naga Land, Historic Ledo Road and the world famous Hukaung Valley
( 8 Days / 7 Night Adventure Trip )

Day 1. Arrive at Myintkyina by flight / train( / L / D )

Arrive at Myintkyina and make half day sightseeing in the biggest town, the capital of Kachin State in Norther Myanmar. Sightseeing will be Manaw place where all Kachin people celebrate their annual Kachin New Yer and Jawbon Tower to see the panoramic view of the town and its vicinity mountain range. We enjoy the sunset on the western bank of Ayeyarwaddy River. We will make a briefing y having dinner at a river view restaurant and overnight stay at a hotel in Myitkyina.

Day2. Myintkyina – Tanaing by 4 WD( B / L / D )

In our experiences, Myitkyina morning market is the most exotic and biggest vegetable market in northern Myanmar. It is on the bank of the mighty Ayeyarwaddyriver. All of the fisher men and villagers from the small villages come and joy the market by their small boats with the sunrise. All Kachin local products could be seen in the market. Beautiful lovely small flower market can be visited just beside of the main market. After taking your time easy in the market, we’ll start our long adventure driving. Today will be about five hours scenic driving to Tanaing. We will make en route stop at some small Kachin village on the way to Tanaing, which is a small town but main training point between Indian and Myanmar. In the evening, visit small market to see their local product as Emerar, some forest product and etc. Dinner will be at a restaurant and night stop will be at a local guest house.

Day 3.Tanaing – Shingbwiyan- Namyun by 4 WD ( B / L / D )

Whole day scenic driving and sightseeing along historical famous Ledo road in the world biggest tiger area “ Hukaung Valley” will be highlight of the day. We will visit, Talone and Tawan rivers, small village Shingbwiyan, which lies in the deep forest to see a lot of gold mines. Hukanung valley is famous for his evergreen deep forest, wild elephant and especially for wild tiger. So, we could see some wild animals if you are luck. And also small village on the way will be interesting for you too. In the evening, we will arriveNamyun, which statutes near the border of Myanmar and India for our night stop. Dinner will be at a small local restaurant and night stop will be home sleep.

Day 4.Namyun – Pansaung – Namyun by 4 WD ( B / L / D )

After breakfast, you can enjoy the scenic driving along the beautiful mountain. On the way, we will make village sightseeing at authentic way of life the Nagan tribes in their villages. Sightseeing to Pansaung will be done day return from Namyun. Some hiding races of Naga tribe are living around Pansuang and on the way to there. We will enjoy our lunch at Pansaung. Standing on the border of the Myanmar and Inda, Pansaung look likes small trading village between two countries. After sightseeing at Pansaung, drive back to Namyum. Dinner and night stop will be at the same place.

Day 5.Namyun – DoneheNaga Village by 4 WD ( B/ L / D )

Visiting Donehe and hiding Naga villages which lie on the way will take you back one century ago. We will take our time easy at Donehe and some small naga villages to observe their authentic living style of hidingNagan trips who are still living as their old generations. You can visit a community house of seven or more Naga families. All relatives are living together in a long hut as one unite to get their unity strength for their defensive. This kind of Naga-long-hut could be seen only in Donehe village. And also tattooed face HarsitNaga tribe will see on the same day. Today sightseeing will be one of the main highlights of the tour. Dinner and overnight will be at the village.

Day 6.DoneheNaga Village – Lahe by 4 WD ( B/ L / D )

After breakfast, proceed to Lahe along the Naga mountain range. Laheis small town where Naga People celebrate their new year Naga festival one in two years. On the way, we will visit Makyan and Sandone Naga villages for different tribe of Naga. It will be highlights of the day. Lying on the hill site of the Naga mountain range, we will drive to villages for whole day sightseeing. We will see many horns and bone of the animal killed by the house owner at the main entrance of the house in the village. They want to show their hunting experiences and proud for their strange by hanging the all peace of dead animal bodies on their huts. In the villages, you will see different type of Naga and their real life style of daily life. In the evening, continue to Lahe for our night stop. Dinner and overnight will be a home of Naga leader in Lahe.

Day 7 Lahe – Khanti by 4WD ( B /L /D )

After morning sightseeing in Lahe, proceed to Khamti by our truck. On the way, visit some small Naga village and make stop at view point for your photography. Today, you will see some villages of differ tribes again. In the evening, some more sightseeing by strolling around Kantiand visit Nanthargone Naga village, Chinese temple. Enjoy the sunset and see the way of life of the local people on the bank of the Chindwin River. Dinner at a restaurant and overnight will be ata guest house in Khanti.

Day 8.Khanti, Naga Land - Mandalay by flight (B-/L/D)

Morning sightseeing will be included colorful market, Naga Traditional Museum and Naga traditional field which is the most popular place for their holy festival and dancing place. After leisure sightseeing, transfer to Khantoairp port for your flight to Mandalay or Yangon. It will be at the end of your wonderful experiences of authentic Naga Land.
